From navigating conversations around sexuality and identity to addressing internet safety and the influence of media, this event will provide practical tools and biblical wisdom to help you lead with both truth and love.

Lisa Ivey
Developing Practices for Internet Safety
Street Hope TN is a non-profit dedicated to ending domestic minor sex trafficking and online child exploitation in East Tennessee. Lisa Ivy, the Director of Prevention Education, oversees the organization’s Project POST curriculum, teaching middle and high school students about internet safety and trafficking prevention. She also provides training on these topics for parents, caregivers, and service providers. With over twelve years of experience in youth education, Lisa believes in empowering families to make safe, healthy choices. All Street Hope resources are offered free to the community.

Travis Gordon
Gaming Safeguards
Travis Gordon, Assistant Director of Service Management at the University of Tennessee, oversees the IT HelpDesk and campus tech services. He holds a BS in Marketing and Statistics from UTK and a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Seminary. In this session, he’ll share practical tips for parents on managing kids’ video game use—including parental controls, screen time limits, account settings, and monitoring online interactions.

Melissa Haun
Talking to Kids about Sex
This presentation equips parents and educators with the confidence to talk to children and students about sex, relationships, and the influence of culture and technology-- offering practical tips and age-appropriate advice. Melissa Haun, a family nurse practitioner and certified Sexual Risk Avoidance Educator, will discuss the impact of sexualized culture and technology on adolescents, while providing resources to help parents and educators communicate truthfully and effectively. She has been dedicated to reproductive healthcare and prevention education since 2007. She is passionate about empowering parents to guide their children through today’s sexualized culture.

John Bartlett
Educators Breakout
John Bartlett is the Principal of Farragut High School in Knoxville, Tennessee. He previously served as a secondary supervisor for Knox County Schools and was principal at Bearden High School for ten years. John began his career teaching U.S. History and coaching baseball before moving into school leadership. He holds a Doctorate in Education from Liberty University and multiple degrees from Tennessee Technological University and Tennessee Temple University. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, John now serves as a Master Sergeant in the Tennessee Air National Guard. He and his wife Tonya have been members of Fellowship Church since 2012 and have two children and two grandchildren.
